Q. How does the free trial work? Why do I need to put in a credit card for a free trial?
A. The free trial works like this: Order a server with a trial (usually hl1 and 2 games except in Texas internap location), and you are not billed at all when the account is created and for the trial period. If during your trial, you do not wish to continue you may cancel your account and owe nothing. Custom subscriptions, the Texas pure Internap location and clan deals are excluded and have no trial due to the cpu and bandwidth requirements. After the trial period (trials are based on calender days), your account is charged and from then on in calendar monthly intervals. So if you keep your server, the first charge covers 1 month and the trial period. One free trial is allowed that is all. Using a second paypal account and attempting to get a second one will result in the order being canceled. Any modification to the subscription during the trial (i.e. adding more slots, up/down grading service, canceling and then restarting) will have to result in starting a paid subscription. Some trials are shorter than 3 days make sure to read the page you order off of carefully. Voice slots on a trial period subscription will be limited to no more than 10 slots until payment is made.

Q. What forms of payments do you take?
A. We accept our online payments via the paypal subscription service. This service allows us to automate all billing and keeps our costs down. We are able to do manual payments via a credit card as well, get us on live chat to make those arrangements. Manual payments are 10% over the listed prices on the site.

Q. Do you offer discounts if I pay in advance?
A. All subscriptions are billed on a month to month rate. Our servers are just slightly above cost and we can not discount any more and stay in business.

Q. How much do you load up your machines?
A. We can't give a definite number of game servers per box as an answer, because each game takes more or less resources than others. We can tell you that we never load a box up past 55% during peek times to ensure smooth operation for everyone.

Q. What are your servers run on?
A. Most of our boxes are Dell Dual or Quad processor 2Gigs or 4gigs of ram and hard drives in a raid array or better with fast response dell warrantees. These servers are owned by us and are not rented. By putting the money up front for the servers we cut our overhead per month by 60%. That is why you get such good prices from us. Low overhead.

Q. What do you support?
A. We support the default game install and either default mani or default amxx other 3rd party mods have to be the clients responsibility (unless you get a managed server package or pay a small fee for the install.) We promise to support you in a professional manner and to be available to answer your questions. We have 8 years experience with running servers. We will teach you how to run your server with a scheduled class to answer questions. We offer help with learning to install, customization, and editing to make your experience with us as fun and trouble free as possible. If things go wrong we are there to help with the troubleshooting to put things right.

Q. What fps do the servers run at?
A. Hl1 games run at 2 tics with us. 200 tic will max at around 200 fps and 600 tic will max at around 500fps. Unmodded servers should average at 400+fps at 600 tic when samples are taken 20 seconds apart (mods can greatly affect server side fps so all I can guarantee is the tic will be set to what you ordered if the server is modded.) Hl2 games run at 256 max generally since anything over the tickrate is thrown out on hl2 games.

Q. Can I change the game that I am renting to some other game?
A. Yes, submit a request via email and we will delete the old server install and install a different game. If that game has the same pricing as the old one then you need to do nothing. If it has a higher or lower price point, then you must cancel your old subscription and create a new one for the new game.

Q. How many free trials can I get?
A. One please, we offer this as a service to our clients so they can test drive the server to make sure they meet their needs.

Q. How does the Game Panel work?
A. Its web based and very easy to manage the server with. There icons that are easy to understand and use.

Q. How do I cancel my server?
A. To cancel just go to paypal, history, find the subscription (not a payment) and click it, details, cancel. This is the ONLY way to cancel, sending emails, tickets will not cancel the server please do it through paypal. The server will then run until its last paid day servers MUST be canceled before payment is made as I incur several charges the minute a server renews no refunds after a server has been charged.

Q. How do I update my server when patches come out.
A. If you get a hl1 or hl2 server and there is a steam update, you just hit the steam update button in your gamepanel and wait for the server to restart (you will see its progress in a popup window.)
